Wakeup Visit

Kaibab National Forests – “Wild” Horses
They just showed up one day, at first a bit leery of my barking K9s.
I got the impression it was a mare and her yearling duo. The younger young was more brazen, licking the windows of the Subaru, and approaching so closely as to allow petting.
They would come by, drink whatever water I had out, and then stroll off, grazing at will.
After a week of not seeing them, they returned, with a new member, a beautiful filly with an amusing whinny. The mare had foaled.
It was an incredible blessing to have been introduced to the newest member of their group.
