Skipping Around Florida
We crossed the Georgia/Florida State line on 13 December and remerged a month later, crossing into Alabama on 13 January. Along the way, we inadvertently collected a LOT of sand, stepped on way too many stickers, and inhaled a toxic dose of DEET.
But despite the annoying idiosyncrasies of traversing a peninsula, I gathered some memories that will be hard to top.
Please note, the Everglades portion, as it is so unique, is covered in a separate post.
