In Search of a White Squirrel
Brevard, North Carolina claims to be the “Home of the White Squirrel” along with similar claims by a few other cities across the United States. Brevard College’s “White Squirrel Research Institute” has gathered a significant database on the white version of the eastern grey squirrel.
I lucked out. Less than 10 minutes after parking, I spotted an infamous member of the Sciuridae family.
